Apple has reconciled with HTC. However, peace is not made Samsung interested in following the footsteps of HTC. Indeed, the recent statement that came out of the head of Samsung's increasingly heated atmosphere.
Samsung
mobile division chief, Shin Jong-kyun, said Apple could not manufacture
iPhones without the help of Samsung technology, on Wednesday
(11/21/2012) in Seoul, Korea.
"The
truth never lies. Without wireless patents (owned) Samsung, Apple can
not possibly produce mobile phones," said Shin Jong-kyun, as quoted by
The Korea Times. "As you know, Samsung is very strong in terms of ownership of wireless technology patents."
Statement
one of Samsung's top brass following the decision of the U.S.
International Trade Commission (International Trade Commission / ITC) to
review its previous decision that Apple did not violate four patents
owned by Samsung.
The agency is expected to issue a final decision in January next year. If the decision is in favor of Samsung, Apple to sell the iPhone and iPad banned in the U.S..
Previously, Shin said that Samsung will not negotiate with Apple, as did HTC.
The
resulting agreement between HTC and Apple makes both the right to
freely use multiple patents for 10 years and HTC will make an
undisclosed payment to Apple. All litigation between the two companies will be dropped.
Pascaperdamaian is, there are some rumors that Apple and Google have met that Samsung would make a similar deal. However, it is directly contradicted by the official Samsung Twitter account.
